"Hello, parents, I'm Dr F, aunt of Sophie and mother and creator to Six. As you know, in part of chapter 1 of Old Friends, New Places, as I put on that African Lullabies CD, Sophie and her brothers, sister, cousin and friends imagined a variety of different scenarios based around what they can hear. If your tween has autism, this activity can help them get close to friends they're no longer with. First off, put on the music I put on using your artificial intelligence device, or A if I prefer. Then, using crayons and paper, have your tween write down the things they like about a certain day they want to revisit or a person they want to meet again. Once you've finished, have them write a letter to the person they adore, such as a support worker, a friend or a family member thanking them for an experience they won't forget. You can even write to your idol like Six writes to Brain Drain. Heck, and to think Sophie writes to Factory. I'm not one of the paid actors for that awful Season 2 of Scream Street. Bleaurgh!
There's a free printable for a letter in the link below, however, if you're signed into this website, you're free to print it out. You may also use some paper, pencils and crayons to draw your favourite part of this special day. I wanted to talk about a day in Sophie's life, but sadly, this blog isn't a diary. So, if you sign into the website, download and print out the sheet, you'll have an addition to your life that is 20 times as memorable as the day out!"
