Breakfast

Cleo and I are having a huge breakfast with our friends and families on Christmas Eve! One time, we went to Chuck E Cheese and had a great time, chowing down on pizza and playing lots of arcade games and going on rides. Then, for lunch, we went to Burger King where we had chicken nuggets, burgers and a nice fizzy drink.

100 Years Of The BBC - Tunes For The 16th & 20th December

All it takes is trust, understanding and love to accept new friends like Luke, Resus and Cleo into the family, and now that they've been accepted into CBBC's family - that was a long time ago - they're people who will be your imaginary friends forever. Listen to 'La Vie Est Belle' here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVJ_0Kfw7Vo This song is also the theme of Luke, Resus and Cleo's very first adventure, designed to put a lump in your throat.

Christmas Cake

I love helping Luke and his parents make a Christmas cake for Christmas day. Putting in all the currants and doing the icing is a pleasure to do. I only eat the icing though, but I've yet to try the lovely goodness of the cake.

Hol's End

It's near to the end of Uncle Rad and Frisky's holiday. They have been sending the family texts and photos, and they've been to Crocosaur Cove millions of times to swim with crocodiles. They've even been up to Darwin river to see crocodiles AND sharks, and the Heelers are picking them up at the airport tomorrow.

Picnic

I was just a baby then. It was an exciting day. My family are going on a picnic. We’re having it in the park. The food looks delicious. I am given my favourite pureed food. Luke, Resus and Cleo help feed me. They enjoy sandwiches, crisps and cupcakes. Niles always burps when eating. This makes me laugh. What else makes me laugh? Luke’s puppet dragon, Mr Fair ‘N’ Height. He always brings him on a picnic. He tells jokes. He sings nursery rhymes. He tells stories. He’s the best dragon ever! Luke, Resus, Cleo and I feel tired. The sun is setting. We pack up the picnic things. We get in the car and drive home. Luke, Resus, Cleo and I are asleep. Everything is quiet on the drive home. At last, we arrive home. Our parents carry us to bed. It’s been a lovely day. We feel so tired now. We’ll have another picnic next time!

It's....

And also, this mum had to change her children's names to animal ones to avoid COPPA finding out their identity! Clever mummy! https://www.caterpillartales.co.uk/tag/picnic/

Breakfast For The Poor

If CBBC doesn't air the Grumpus special throughout the entire festive season, Luke, Resus and Cleo will go homeless! Luckily, I have just the solution: I'm fixing it - with a huge breakfast at my house!

Velvet

Velvet is a magical secret garden. Luke, Resus, Cleo and I like to go there. We go there when we’re stressed. We love it in our secret place. There are flowers everywhere. Nothing is overgrown. The garden is so peaceful. There’s a fountain just over there. We take off our shoes and socks. We splash about in the cool water. We like to splash each other under the fountain. We like to roam the garden’s green fields. We pick flowers. We hand them to each other. I hand a bunch to Luke. He thinks they smell lovely. We share a hug. We skip around the field. We catch clouds in the sky. We jump as high as we could. We can’t reach the clouds…. But we can reach it in our minds. We roll down hills. The grass is covered in dew. We don’t mind the dew. We love how it tastes. There’s nowhere we’d rather be. We land in a heap at the bottom. We laugh and hug each other. It feels like Spring has begun. We wished for Spring to last all year. Now, Spring is in this garden. There’s a huge tree. It’s located...

Tea Party

Mickey and his friends are against CGi! As well as having a tea party, they decide to strike back against Disney Junior for putting CGi into a majority of their shows.

Welcome To The Family: Meagre

My family and I live in a holiday camp. It’s nice and relaxing there. There’s a community of friendly people. They care about us. There’s no clothes to worry about. We enjoy it here. The camp is located near the beach. We love to hear the waves splashing. I love this peaceful place. Not as much as I love my family. We play in the back garden of our holiday home. We play croquet and hide and seek. When we play Tag, it’s the most fun. One touch, and he or she is it! I love playing games with my siblings. We also love playing on the beach. Muffin and Bingo make sandcastles. I play with my cousin Six. The grownups relax in deckchairs. Aaaaahh, this is the life. We love it away from work. We’re so happy here. We go swimming in the sea. Luella teaches Socks how to swim. We splash each other, laughing wildly. Especially Luke, Resus, Cleo and me. We are connected to the sea. The sea is our birthplace. We own the sea. That’s the priority of our family. When we’re tired, we fall asleep. Asleep o...

Pizza & Drinks

Luke, Resus, Cleo and I are enjoying a day at Chuck E Cheese's, eating pizza and drinks and enjoying the huge sliced cookie. Poor Luella, before her movie night with us, she has to do a stock count!

Heal The Flower...

Judo's Fear Of Water

Judo has been up to a lot of things since the filming of her episode 'Dirt'. She's been overcoming her fear of water, she's been going to a different school than Bluey, mainly due to her maths homework, and she's been cooking and doing some art. She's going to help her mum prepare a salad for lunch, she's preparing her homework for school tomorrow and she's video calling Bluey.

Fishing & Blanket Forts

Resus and his father are going fishing today, but later this afternoon, Luke and Cleo are joining Resus and me in building a super-cosy blanket fort.

Lullaby For Lindsey

Jody Calls Charlie!

Thought calling Lindsey via Zoom was great? Watch how Jody calls Charlie. Warning: glitchy effects ahead! https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/watch/the-dumping-ground-survival-files-s03-e02

Lindsey's Family Farm

Lindsey has been working at her parent's donkey sanctuary. Her friends from CBBC haven't got time to call because they're too busy with family, films and work. Her family owns 5 rescued dogs and she's going to spend Christmas with friends who'll love her forever.

Pyjama Party

Luke has had a hard time out in the cold, taking Dig for a walk. I'm going to invite Luke, Resus and Cleo to a pyjama party, complete with pizza, chocolate, popcorn, pillow fights and lots of stories in the dark under the covers!

Blue Peter!

Time To Relax This Weekend!

Muffin & Her Ponies!

"Thanks for the breakfast, mum! I'm going to go play with My Little Ponies!" "Oh, Muffin and her ponies." "You know, Trixie, I'd enjoy this breakfast a lot more if Bluey aired on Disney+."

When I Think About Lindsey From Blue Peter...

Scamper's Uncles

Scamper is expecting her mother, father and uncles Chip and Dale to come round and visit her and Scuff this Christmas.

BBQs, Sleepovers & Wishes For Your Mother To Come Home....

Uncle Rad and Frisky are on holiday in Darwin, and recently they've been in Crocovore Cove, swimming with alligators! Cleo and I like to host a girl's night in, with face masks, pedicures, manicures, pizza, chocolate and hot chocolate. We love watching Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas! All Dixon wants for Christmas was for his mother to come home and celebrate Christmas with her family.

Ohana Means Family...

Taking

With the return of my favourite Christmas special The Grumpus, Luke, Resus, Cleo and I have a fun day planned ahead. We're going to enjoy a huge Christmas breakfast with bacon, pancakes and eggs, then have some fun in the snow and turn Doug into a snowman, then after the special we're going to gather round the table and eat a huge Christmas feast of turkey and stuffing and all the trimmings, with me saying: "Isn't this lovely? All of us gathered for a wonderful meal? I think this is my favourite part of Christmas."

Chocolate Cake

Luke's dad is the best cook in all of Scream Street, especially at this time of year. I try to compare Luke's eating habits and his habit of burping at the table to what Huey, Duey and Louie do to anger their Uncle Donald during their segments in Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas and Twice Upon A Christmas.

Tie Break

Resus is having hot chocolate and pizza with Luke, and they're watching football on TV in the warm. However, football isn't my thing, and I persuade them to watch something nice, like Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas.

Muddy Trainers

Resus is going to out to play football with Luke. He loves Bluey just as much as I do, specifically Pass The Parcel, BBQ and Omelette.

Zoo

Cleo and her dad are off to the zoo. Niles is looking forward to seeing the elephants, while Cleo is looking forward to seeing the meerkats. Fully recovered from her traitorous camping trip, Cleo is thinking back to her days in Kindy when the class pet Bunnicula taught her and her classmates Luke and Resus about sharing, and now he's a lot fatter if he's being taken care of.

Fish & Chips

Resus and his mum Bella have just come home with new shoes - I bet they're so girly that Resus thinks they're too hideous. Luke hates Dodger and Malory Towers, but he's so looking forward to Bluey and Scream Street! Bella cooks dinner - boiled meat and blood burgers for her husband, and spag bol for the boys.

Good News!

Who's this? Dig! And he's here to tell us some great news - we can push aside Freya Skye and all that stuff about Junior Eurovision, because there's something exciting on the mantelpiece: Scream Street's real, proper season is coming back with its Christmas special! I am so looking forward to this day, and you should be too! Prepare for this day with gusto!

Chilli & Bingo

It's time for Bingo and Chilli to take the spotlight as their favourite stories are available for you Aussies to view on ABC iView. There's lots of favourite moments, so don't miss out. https://iview.abc.net.au/collection/3201 https://iview.abc.net.au/collection/3245

Luke, Resus & Cleo's Letters To Me - Christmas Dinner

Hi Sophie... We're sorry you've been researching the infections people get with spreading cholera.. Yes, everyone is excited about Christmas and we are, too. It would be great if we could all sit down and have a wonderful turkey and stuffing and all the trimmings. Those cracker jokes are always funny cos they are so bad. See you soon, Luke, Resus and Cleo.

Letter to The Family - Christmas Dinner

To Luke, Resus, Cleo, Chilli and the rest of my extended family... It's going to be a nice Christmas, even with these old-fashioned looking Christmas specials airing on CBBC and all that Junior Eurovision stuff that's going on. CBBC has been lying to us about The Next Step all year! This sucks! Anyway, I look forward to spending Christmas with all the family just like Donald and his family did in my favourite Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas segment, Donald Duck: Stuck On Christmas. We'd spend Christmas Eve in front of the fire telling stories, or we could sit in front of the TV and watch Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas while sipping hot mugs of cocoa and eating and sharing chocolate cookies, remembering to leave some out for Santa and his reindeer. I can imagine every Christmas in our family: me and the kids excitedly waiting for Santa and his reindeer and asking Mike to taste his delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies (you know Mike makes the best cookies), Luella...

And Now, A Message About Cholera

Idea Of The Day - Picnic

As a baby, I like to join my family on picnics in the countryside or in the park, with Luke, Resus and Cleo entertaining me with sock puppets of friendly dragons.

Letter To Resus - Return Of The Hungry Hamster

Dear Resus... Have you read Undead Pets: Return Of The Hungry Hamster? It's a good book, guaranteed to make you hungry as a mule. Neeeeiiiigggh!! Ha-ha, do you like my horse impersonation? Anyway, if you don't know what it is I have to explain in full detail: Joe receives a magical Egyptian amulet from his Uncle Charlie, and wishes for a pet on it. It is here that Dumpling appears, eating crisp crumbs and Joe's stinky socks, and in the morning he chows down on a sponge. He likes the smell of bubble bath, too, because it smells of strawberries. He eats when he's anxious because he's worried that the boy who owned him, Oliver, would be sad without him. When Joe gets into trouble with his dad, he tries to get rid of the amulet to no avail. Here comes the next make-you-hungry scene: Joe is sitting at the breakfast table with his siblings Sarah and Toby, waiting for toast and marmalade or the full Monty: bacon, eggs and tomatoes. When Dumpling was eating the toast, I cou...

Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Movie Night

Rudolph gummies, chocolates, cocoa...what more could you ask for with your yearly serving of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer? This mum celebrated the release of new Rudolph tableware by having a cosy movie night featuring everyone's favourite red-hooter of a deer. https://www.suburbansoiree.com/blog-1/2017/12/19/movie-night-rudolph-the-red-nosed-reindeer

A Letter To Pinkie Pie...

Dear Pinkie Pie.... I'm writing you this letter because I wanted to share my favourite joke book with you. It's named Scream Street: The Spooktacular Joke Book, and I hope it's your favourite joke book to read on Halloween, all the jokes are brilliantly written. I like to imagine little skits starring me and my friends from Scream Street and Brisbane. Maybe you and the ponies could act them out! You could put on shadow puppet shows or plays - the Mane 6 Players, you should call yourselves. How about you get a director - the greatest in Equestria - to film the skits? Such a lot of options! Catch you later! Love, Sophie XXXXX
